Conversations in Creative Evangelism
We sat to analyze the Poem Blind With Eyes Open by one of the original members of Love Calling Evangelical Repertory Theater. The conversation comes many years after performing "Be Healed", the very first full length production of Love Calling. The work is a compilation of dialogue and poetry which depicts the state of many of us as we work towards and achieve a level of professional success only to find ourselves bereft of fulfillment and peace. An invitation to Be Healed of the void left when we fail to move forward with out Faith in God leading us . It was a wonderful work created by Cokie Fisher copyright Circa 1982 Janice Genovia. Permission to use any of the poetry quoted in this conversations must be obtained from Janice Genovia, Love Calling Evangelical Repertory Theater, A ministry of Rehoboth Institute of the Arts at pel.riota3@gmail.com

Treasure in an Earthern Vessel

Saturday September 5, I received word that our elder, friend, Soldier for justice and Redeemed of the Lord, Rev. Gil Caldwell entered the eternal presence of our God. I extend my sympathies to his family and pray for their comfort and peace from the Lord that passes all understanding. When our work is finished, we too will rest. In the words of the old hymn
I'm going where the wicked shall cease from troubling and the weary shall be at rest.
And all of the saints of the ages are going to sit at his feet and be blessed.
And as it is stated in the Revelation of Jesus Christ 21:4
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
How were we so blessed to have him talk with us in the very last month of his life. To share from his wellspring of experience and wisdom. I pray that in some way, We conveyed to him our sincere gratitude. I thank God for allowing me to know Rev. Caldwell. I shall forever cherish the gift God gave us in this earthen vessel - Reverend Gilbert Caldwell.
