A Mom's Gift to Her Childre Part 1

The Virtuous woman described in Proverbs 28 in today's translation covers the mother who lacks the support of her husband or is single and lacks the support of the children's father.  Some of these women live sacrificially to ensure children receive a good foundation in faith and are cared for.  Although fathers can't be replaced by mothers in a child's life, the child can be embraced, loved, and given opportunities that point them in the direction of a fulfilled life.

Conversations in Creative Evangelism
Jan and I talk shop. Every artist has a process that unlocks the message held within us. If we are in Christ and are driven by our relationship with Him, we probably spend a lot of time in prayer before each of our compositions, or we simultaneously pen the words of the voice of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes the work delivers us from challenges we face or have faced; other times the message is to the masses. Either way, God is speaking. Even if the message delivers the artist from his/her bondage or is a greater revelation in His Word, the penned expression is like a ripple in the stream, and others who hear it also benefit in a personal way.   I pray this conversation speaks to you and helps you unlock the gifts God has given you to lift exalt Him and draw others to Him through Jesus Christ.
